13 Hours Later, the Riverhawks Are Back in Action

    2025-06-08

After last night's 18 inning 2-3 loss, the Hawks have had a quick rest and are ready to go

Facing a loss in their longest-ever baseball game, the Edmonton Riverhawks are ready to rebound against the Bellingham Bells on Sunday afternoon. Gridlocked in a 2-2 tie for ten straight innings, the Edmonton squad sent out nine different pitchers across the double-length ballgame.

While Bellingham served the Hawks their first loss of the nascent 2025 season, the Hawks put up a strong fight and will continue to do today with #26 Zac Foden stepping onto the mound to lead the team. This will be Foden's first appearance of the season; as one of the unworked arms last night he'll be looked to carry the team for a number of innings.

The stands at RE/MAX field will be packed with pups today, as the Hawks celebrate Paws in the Park presented by Homes Alive Pets. On top of plenty of pooches howling for the Hawks in the bleachers, there will be Dog Olympics, a Weiner dog race, and the only bobblehead night of the season for fans.

The Riverhawks are honouring their bat dog Iceman with a special dogglehead that includes tail wagging action! Please note that the Iceman Dogglehead is not a door giveaway. All fans in attendance will have the chance to win a Dogglehead through our random draw.

First pitch goes at 1:05, visit tickets.gohawks.ca to score your spot in the stands. Please note these special instructions if you're coming to the game with your dog.
