RE/MAX Field Gate Policies

No outside food and beverage, including alcoholic beverages, may be brought into the park. Guests may bring a refillable water bottle into the stadium, but it MUST be empty when entering the stadium. No air horns or laser pointers are permitted. All guests may be subject to search upon entry to ensure compliance.

Alcohol at the Game

Alcohol will be available to fans with appropriate identification. RE/MAX Field does not have a non-alcoholic section. Should there be any issues of over-consumption at the game and one or a group of fans are disturbing another’s enjoyment of the game, we simply ask that you bring the issue to the attention of one of our staff or security. We will gladly look to relocate your party or attempt to deal with the offending individual or group in an appropriate manner.

General Policies

The Edmonton Riverhawks are pleased to be able to provide top-level baseball and family-community entertainment at baseball games and other related events.

  1. The Riverhawks games are family events and inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. Anyone found to be in possession of outside alcohol, drugs or other materials will be removed from the facility. Riverhawks management and City of Edmonton staff reserve the right to revoke a ticket at any time, without right of refund or exchange.
  2. RE/MAX Field is a smoke free, vape free and cannabis free facility. Smoking of any type of tobacco, marijuana or vaping product is not allowed within the confines of the stadium. Fans may receive a re-entry hand stamp to go outside of the stadium to smoke if they desire. After finishing, they will be allowed back into the stadium.
  3. You are encouraged to get to all Riverhawks games early, as the grandstand and bleacher seats are first come first served. Fans are encouraged to watch pregame warmup and batting practice while selecting your favourite seats.
  4. All entrants require a ticket to enter the facility for games or related events.
  5. All ticket sales are final, with no cash refunds. Rain can happen, and we have an exchange policy for unused tickets – both of those are explained below.
  6. Special ticket pricing is available for youth, students and seniors. In addition, season ticket specials, 9 or 6 game Flex packs, universal 15 game grandstand packs and the Silver Sluggers seniors package are available for Riverhawks fans. Please check out the options in the Promotional Packs section.
  7. Reserved seats are available for Riverhawks season ticket holders. They will be identified by reserved signs directly on each seat and we request that general admission ticket holders leave them empty for our supporting season ticket holders.

Rainout Policy

In the event that a home Riverhawks game does not fulfill the rules requirement to be an official completed game (5 innings, or 4 ½ innings if the home team is winning) due to weather issues, fans can use their game ticket for a future regular season game of choice. The ticket will be valid for a seat of equal or lesser value and will be subject to availability. Cash refunds will not be available. Rain delays are common in baseball and often the game is eventually completed. In this case, the rainout policy does not apply. In the event that a Riverhawks game rainout occurs late in the season, Riverhawks management will announce how these tickets will be redeemed.

Rainout FAQ

What do I do if it is raining before the game?

If it is raining before the start of a game, our Grounds Crew will be hard at work protecting the field against the elements. If the rain stops before the scheduled game start time, the game will proceed as planned. If the rain continues into the scheduled game time, team management will invoke a rain delay. Please check our team Twitter account and website to get live game day updates regarding the status of our game.

What do I do if it begins to rain during the game?

If it begins to rain during the game, our Grounds Crew will work quickly to keep the field in playing condition. Riverhawks staff will work with the umpires and check with local weather outlets to determine the immediate weather outlook. If the teams feel that the inclement weather will pass, a rain delay will be put into effect. If it is determined that the inclement weather will not pass in a reasonable amount of time, an official rainout will be declared. The Riverhawks will update fans as to the timing of the rescheduled game on the team Twitter and website.

When is a game declared an official game?

An official game is declared after 5 full innings (or 4 1/2 innings of baseball if the home team is leading) have been played. In the case where a rainout takes place after that time, no ticket exchanges will be offered.

Exchange policy

If a Riverhawks fan is not able to use a purchased game ticket, you can use that ticket for a future Riverhawks home game. You simply need to display the unused game ticket at one of the stadium entrances. Unfortunately, exchange tickets will not be accepted at the July 1 fireworks home game or at any Riverhawks playoff games. In the event that the Riverhawks participate in the 2021 West Coast League playoffs, tickets will be available for all Riverhawks season ticket holders. Team staff will contact all Riverhawks season ticket holders once the playoff schedule has been confirmed. Season suite and grandstand box holders will be given the first right of refusal for all home Riverhawks playoff games.
