No air horns or laser pointers are permitted. All guests may be subject to search upon entry to ensure compliance.
Alcohol will be available to fans with appropriate identification. RE/MAX Field does not have a non-alcoholic section. Should there be any issues of over-consumption at the game and one or a group of fans are disturbing another’s enjoyment of the game, we simply ask that you bring the issue to the attention of one of our staff or security. We will gladly look to relocate your party or attempt to deal with the offending individual or group in an appropriate manner.
The Edmonton Riverhawks are pleased to be able to provide top-level baseball and family-community entertainment at baseball games and other related events.
In the event that a home Riverhawks game does not fulfill the rules requirement to be an official completed game (5 innings, or 4 ½ innings if the home team is winning) due to weather issues, fans can use their game ticket for a future regular season game of choice. The ticket will be valid for a seat of equal or lesser value and will be subject to availability. Cash refunds will not be available. Rain delays are common in baseball and often the game is eventually completed. In this case, the rainout policy does not apply. In the event that a Riverhawks game rainout occurs late in the season, Riverhawks management will announce how these tickets will be redeemed.
What do I do if it is raining before the game?
If it is raining before the start of a game, our Grounds Crew will be hard at work protecting the field against the elements. If the rain stops before the scheduled game start time, the game will proceed as planned. If the rain continues into the scheduled game time, team management will invoke a rain delay. Please check our team Twitter account and website to get live game day updates regarding the status of our game.
What do I do if it begins to rain during the game?
If it begins to rain during the game, our Grounds Crew will work quickly to keep the field in playing condition. Riverhawks staff will work with the umpires and check with local weather outlets to determine the immediate weather outlook. If the teams feel that the inclement weather will pass, a rain delay will be put into effect. If it is determined that the inclement weather will not pass in a reasonable amount of time, an official rainout will be declared. The Riverhawks will update fans as to the timing of the rescheduled game on the team Twitter and website.
When is a game declared an official game?
An official game is declared after 5 full innings (or 4 1/2 innings of baseball if the home team is leading) have been played. In the case where a rainout takes place after that time, no ticket exchanges will be offered.
If a Riverhawks fan is not able to use a purchased game ticket, you can use that ticket for a future Riverhawks home game. You simply need to display the unused game ticket at one of the stadium entrances. Unfortunately, exchange tickets will not be accepted at the July 1 fireworks home game or at any Riverhawks playoff games. In the event that the Riverhawks participate in the 2021 West Coast League playoffs, tickets will be available for all Riverhawks season ticket holders. Team staff will contact all Riverhawks season ticket holders once the playoff schedule has been confirmed. Season suite and grandstand box holders will be given the first right of refusal for all home Riverhawks playoff games.
