Rainout & Game Cancellation Policy

Game Status & Communication

Cancellations may be made ahead of the game or can be a GAME TIME decision made by the umpires. The turf installed at RE/MAX Field allows water to drain very efficiently in comparison to traditional grass infields, allowing games to be played even after significant rainfall or during light rain.

In the event of a game postponement or cancellation, updates will be communicated via:

• Riverhawks website
• Social media channels
• Email to ticket purchasers

What Qualifies as a Rainout?

A game is considered official after:

• 4½ innings if the home team is leading, or
• 5 innings if the visiting team is leading

If a game is declared official:

• The game is complete
• No exchanges or vouchers will be issued

If a Game is Cancelled Before Becoming Official

Grandstand Tickets (Single Game)

• Tickets are not refundable for cash
• Voucher(s) will be automatically issued to the original purchaser's account
• Vouchers can be redeemed on the account manager portalor at redeem.gohawks.ca
• Cancellation vouchers are valid for a future regular season home game, subject to availability
• Cancellation vouchers are valid through the end of the 2027 regular season*
• Vouchers may only be redeemed for equal or lesser value seating
• Tickets purchased at the box office may be exchanged in person during box office hours on gamedays for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to availability and verification of original purchase. Where contact information has been collected, vouchers may already be issued to the purchaser's account. Voucher redemption through the account manager is the recommended method for all exchanges
• Complimentary tickets are not eligible for exchange or replacement

*Note: 2027 game redemption will become available once 2027 single game tickets go on sale. Cancellation vouchers not redeemed for a remaining 2026 regular season game will remain in the purchaser's account until that time.

Premium Single Game Tickets (Non-Rental)

Ticket holders will either receive:

• A voucher for a future game, or
• may be rebooked to a future game, subject to availability

Due to limited inventory, rebooking options for premium seating may be limited and are not guaranteed . In most cases, vouchers will be issued for future use.

Suites & Premium Group Rentals

• Groups will be rebooked to a mutually agreed-upon future date, subject to availability
• Due to limited inventory, rebooking options may be limited depending on timing and remaining availability
• In the event a suitable date is not available,alternative accommodations may be provided at the discretion of the Riverhawks

Additional Information

• Vouchers are valid for regular season home games only and are not eligible for playoff games or other RE/MAX Field events
• Vouchers are not eligible for upgraded seating
• Vouchers have no cash value and are valid for ticket redemption only; they cannot be applied toward food and beverage, merchandise, or any other purchases
• Vouchers cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discounts
• Vouchers must be applied at the time of purchase and cannot be applied retroactively to completed transactions. All ticket purchases are final sale
• Vouchers are typically issued within a few business days following a cancellation
• Vouchers must be redeemed within the validity period and cannot be extended beyond the stated expiration
• Tickets that are lost, stolen, or destroyed cannot be replaced
• If a game is rescheduled, tickets for the original date will not be valid for the new game date. Ticket holders will receive a voucher to their account in accordance with this policy
• Fans who choose to leave before a game becomes official are still subject to this policy
• Vouchers will only be issued to the original purchaser on file. The Edmonton Riverhawks do not support or guarantee tickets purchased through third-party resellers or unauthorized sellers. Ticket holders in these situations must contact their original point of purchase
• All policies are subject to change and are administered at the discretion of the Edmonton Riverhawks

Unused Tickets Promotion

If you are unable to come to a game for any reason, your unused ticket(s) will be converted into a ticket voucher to be used at any Monday to Thursday game for the remainder of the 2026 regular season (excluding June 10 and July 1).

These vouchers can be redeemed for Silver, Bronze or Bleacher sections. Complimentary tickets are not eligible for this promotion.

Unused tickets vouchers will be emailed out the week following the games the tickets were issued for. You can also find them in your account manager at account.gohawks.ca under "Vouchers".
