The 2026 Schedule Has Arrived!

The Party Returns to the River Valley on May 29th

The countdown to summer fun is officially on… our 2026 schedule is here! The Riverhawks are back for season five (time flies, right?), and we’ve got 27 home games lined up in Edmonton full of incredible baseball and all the extra fun that makes a night at RE/MAX Field the best spot in town.

We’re kicking things off at home on Friday, May 29th, as the Wenatchee AppleSox roll up from Washington to take on the Riverhawks in our season opener!

Then it’s a wild ride through June and July, loaded with Canadian rivalries and a must-watch rematch against the defending champs, the Bellingham Bells. You know we’ve got unfinished business there following last year's North Divisional Final matchup!

The Hawks will host the Bells during our biggest game of the season, the July 1 Canada Day Celebration. It’s been a 9,000+ sellout for two straight years, and it’s a matchup that Head Coach Jake Lanferman and the team always get up for.

“Canada Day at RE/MAX Field is, of course, one to circle on the calendar,” said Lanferman. “We’re always excited to have a packed house and play in front of an electric fanbase."

Another notable series on the coach’s radar is the road trip down south for a matchup with the Corvallis Knights, West Coast League champions for seven consecutive years up until 2023.

“They’re an established program in our league that boasts a great facility and a strong fan base,” said Lanferman. “It will be telling to see how we stack up against them in regular season play, which hasn't happened in years.”

In the stands at RE/MAX Field, our entertainment team is already gearing up to turn up the fun with new and returning theme nights, giveaways, special guests, and more!

While the 2026 promotional calendar is still in the works, be sure to mark your calendars for our Friday Night Home Opener on May 29, the Canada Day Game on July 1, and Fan Appreciation Day on July 26. Stay tuned as we get closer to the season for the full lineup of summer fun!
