The Edmonton Riverhawks are welcoming young baseball and softball players the opportunity to come down to the diamond in the river valley to take their game to the next level!

The Riverhawks are staging three baseball camps in at RE/MAX Field this summer. Riverhawks coaches and players will lead the sessions, which will zero in on skill development. The young athletes will be taught all the techniques and positions, including breaking down the mechanics of throwing, catching, hitting and even running. The kids will also learn the intricacies of infield and outfield play and pitching.

The three day camps run from Mondays to Wednesdays. Here are the exact dates for each of the camps this summer:

“School's Out” July 3 - 5

“Mid Summer” July 17 - 19

“Hawks Skills” July 31 - August 2

The age groups and times break down as follows:

• 16+ Elite - 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
• 12-15 - 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
• 6-11 -1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

In addition to an awesome experience, each player participating in a camp receives a Riverhawks t-shirt and a home game ticket.
