The Edmonton Riverhawks are planning a fabulous field trip to wrap up the school year! They're staging a regular season game against the Kamloops Northpaws Wednesday, June 14, at 11am. While it's geared towards students in grades 4, 5 and 6, kids of all ages are welcome, as well as adults who may want to take an extended lunch break that day!

We have teachers on staff preparing a worksheet(s) for the kids and we will also incorporate some learning activities into the fun we'll have at the game.

This game also happens to be our Mascot Mania game, when mascots from all over the capital region will join our River and Kid for all sorts of zany entertainment.

The cost is just $5 per student; there is also an option for a $5 pre-ordered lunch (hot dog, banana, small treat and water bottle). Students may bring their own lunches, if preferred. The concessions will be open for those who wish to purchase their own lunches or snacks.

Doors at RE/MAX Field will open at 10 a.m. while the first pitch will be at 11 a.m. Please arrive in a timely fashion to ensure a smooth arrival.

Buses, which are the responsibility of the schools, will be able to drop off and pick up students in the parking lot directly across (north) from the ballpark.

There is a maximum of 5 complimentary adult tickets per class for teachers and supervisors (the $5 lunch is also available to them). Any other additional people who wish to attend the game will need to purchase their own tickets in advance online at www.gohawks.ca or at the Box Office on game day.

This will be a first come, first serve offering and we expect it to be a popular offering so please RSVP fast! To make your reservation, please email Kathy Gregg at kathy.gregg@gohawks.ca. The deadline for reserving game tickets and lunch tickets is the end of day Friday, June 2.
