Triple Play of Fun With Port Angeles Starts Tonight!

We love seeing rain in the forecast because there were supposed to be showers all week long and we had a heck of a lot of fun getting every one of our games in. Home Opener, Mascot Mania and Stand With Ukraine made for a kooky opening home set with the Portland Pickles!

Now, with the Port Angeles Lefties in River City for a 3 game set, we ask Mother Nature, is that all you got?!

Actually, the forecast looks great for tonight - currently projected to be sunny and 21 degreees - as we get ready for Game 1 and our first Friday Night Fireworks. Uncle John will set off a load of gunpowder immediately after the game.

Saturday night we 'll watch more great baseball as we Strike Out Hate with Pride Tape and #yeg Party Queens. Drag Queen Dance-offs on the dugouts? MLA Janice Irwin on the Mound? You bet - and a whole lot more as we build community by celebrating our diversity.

Sunday afternoon Edmonton Humane Society helps us welcome pooches to the park with Hawks & Hounds! Bring your best best friend (and your partner and kids!) to the diamond in the river valley and see who listens to commands best, see who behaves best in a pup parade and then watch some cool agility drills. Plus, we have goodie bags for every dog owner to pamper their pooch.
