Southpaw on the Staff!

The Edmonton Riverhawks are thrilled to welcome Lefthanded Pitcher Izaak Martinez into the nest. The Junior from UC San Diego is a Big West All-Academic. The southpaw made 16 appearances last season, all in relief, throwing 37 strikeouts in 35 innings of work. His ERA was 2.83. His record was 3-1 with one save.

A multi-sport athlete in high school, Izaak still enjoys soccer, running, hanging out with friends and family and trying new restaurants (here's hoping he finds a little time to explore #yeg's amazing food scene!). His favour food is martnated chicken and he loves listening to DaBaby, Ski Mask the Slump God, Juice WLRD and Travis Scott.
