Riverhawks Suiting Up for Canada Day in True Canadian Style

The Biggest Party of the Year is Back on July 1st!

Canada’s biggest celebration is also our biggest night of the year, and we’re suiting up in our finest tux to mark the occasion! The Riverhawks will wear special edition Canadian Tuxedo uniforms for our game against the Port Angeles Lefties on July 1st!

Designed in partnership with local artist Mike Lundy, the denim tuxedo kit includes everything from ripped jeans and button pin accents to a custom Riverhawks denim patch and a denim collar. To top it all off (literally!), the players will be sporting an all-new denim hat with a Riverhawks brand denim patch. Fans can snag their limited edition denim hat at the RE/MAX Field Hawk Shop on Canada Day!

Continuing what’s become a proud Riverhawks tradition, we’ll once again host a citizenship ceremony before the game, officially welcoming 48 new Canadians in a moment that’s both powerful and heartwarming. Fans are invited to join in reciting the oath alongside our newest fellow citizens just before first pitch. It’s an honour to hold such a meaningful event in our beautiful river valley, and what better way to welcome them than with a party!

The night will be bookended with live music for every fan to enjoy. Northern Empire drum line will set the tone out front as fans arrive, and just before the fireworks, the ever-energetic Brasstactics will bring the party to field level. Plus, stick around after the game for a post-game set in the Alley Kat Party Pen by local rockers Oil City Sound Machine!

And of course…. fireworks! RE/MAX Field offers some of the best views in the city for the City of Edmonton’s fireworks show, set to begin around 11:00 PM. You won’t want to miss it!

After a sellout on Canada Day in 2024, tickets are once again in high demand, with primarily only bleacher seating remaining!
