All of us at the Edmonton Riverhawks are thrilled to share our 2024 promotional calendar with their fans. The faithful blew the Hawks away last season when almost 105-thousand of them came through the turnstiles, setting a West Coast League record in just the team’s second year of existence. We feel we’ve got some promotional gems this season but we know the fans are the ultimate judge!!!

We’re looking forward to building upon fan favourites like First Responders Night, T-Swift Dance Party and Baseball Goes Bollywood with a lineup of exciting new themes, contests and giveaways for 2024!

After the overwhelming response our Talus Balls Jerseys garnered last summer, we have a new Edmonton-inspired jersey and it is on FIRE! It will anchor a line up of 5 new sassy theme jerseys!

We always listen to our fans and they’re the ones behind our brand-new Sunday promotion: The Barking Bleachers fed by Homes Alive Pets! Pet owners wanted more than just one game so at every Sunday game this summer they can bring their furry friends to a howling good time in their own section on the third base line!

FRI, JUNE 7 |

Home Opener! Presented by Global Edmonton and 89.3 The Raven

We get to stage our first Home Opener on a Friday so let’s get ready to usher in the new season with a great party!  The land that we work, live, and play on has been a gathering ground for thousands of years. We are so honoured our Indigenous friends will lead off the show with amazing songs, dances and a cool “Indian Relay” race! We’ll also hit the bases postgame for a Round Dance for Reconciliation on the field.

Did we say it’s a Friday?! You know what that means. We’ll have an unbelievable light show presented by Uncle John's Fireworks to end the night with a splash!

SAT, JUNE 8 |

Viva Las Vegas featuring Stars of the Military!

What happens at the ballpark….stays at the ballpark!!!

We’re bringing the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas to RE/MAX Field, including a lineup of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and the high flying stars of Cirquetastic! The word on the street is Elvis is set to make a very splashy entrance with his friends in the Canadian Armed Forces, which makes perfect sense as we want to celebrate the stars we grew up with as well as the stars of today in the Armed Forces!

Oh, and did we mention we’re also going to be giving away flights for two to Sin City courtesy Fly YEG?!?

All the stars from the big screen and those men and women of the forces share links to this season’s alternate jersey, which will be unveiled on this night. There is a distinctly Edmonton twist to these red hot silks. Enough hints! You’ll have to wait a little longer!!!

SUN, JUNE 9 |

Paws in the Park! Presented by Homes Alive Pets

We’ll be ready for some furry fun this Sunday! Bringing your pets to the ballpark has been growing in popularity every season and we expect a lot of fans to bring their dogs down so they can bark in the park! But this year we’re also inviting other pets. We expected to see a great turnout from the cat fanciers and we also have heard there may be a couple of chickens crashing the party….

Join us for an afternoon of dog dancers (yeah that’s right, we said dogs that dance), wiener dog races and crazy great prizes and giveaways from our pals at Homes Alive Pets!

MON, JUNE 10 |

Turning Singles Into Doubles!

Are you sick of striking out?! Come on down to our beautiful ballpark and find that perfect match!!!

Our friends at Love At First Like know all about the perfect date! They will stage a dating extravaganza on the Alley Kat Party Pen Patio for those looking to find their perfect "catch!”

We also think RE/MAX Field is the perfect setting for a first date or renewing romance after years together! Come on down with your +1 for a romantic evening of hotdogs, beer bats, and baseball!

We are the first to admit you can have a love beyond baseball!

Stand with Ukraine Night presented by CFCW

We love our longtime Ukrainian pals and always want to welcome the newcomers from the war torn country. Come have fun with the fabulous Vohon Dance Company, pierogies to eat from Ukraine’s Kitchen and pierogies to take home from St. Michael’s. There will be some raucous music from the Razon Orchestra and the Ukrainian Choir Trembita. We’re going to have a ton of fun in support of Ukrainian Nationals!

Bonus: it’s a Toonie Tuesday! Buy one general admission ticket at the box office and get the second ticket for only $2 AND enjoy $2 hotdogs and $2 waters all game long!

School Spirit & Mascot Mania! with Qualico!

Our mascot River is soooo jacked for his BIG BIRTHDAY BASH! To celebrate, we’ve invited all of his closest mascot friends along with elementary classes from across the City of Edmonton to join the party at the ballpark!

This dayside game will begin at 11 am and include all kinds of mascot birthday shenanigans for more than 7,000 students in the stands! We’ll also have some amazing animal performances and crazy cool experiments with Alberta Science Teacher of the Year, Michael Ng.

T-Swift Dance Party & Girls Rock Night!

Edmonton: Are You Ready For It?

Back by popular demand, we’re bringing you another Friday Night Dance Party dedicated to Miss Swift! But this one is going to make sparks fly!

Join us for a night of her greatest hits, friendship bracelet making and a one of a kind offering! The word on the street is there is going to be a very interesting costume change behind the scenes. We’ll cap off the evening with a post-game dance party on the field featuring a live DJ!

Oh, dang, forget to mention it’s a Friday so that means a crazy fantastic postgame show presented by Uncle John's Fireworks!

Dingers & Zingers: Saturday Night Live! Presented by K-97 Classic Rock!

People go to Riverhawks games and comment how an Improv Show breaks out - every game! Well, we’ve taken that concept and put it on steroids. Our one man laugh track, host Donovan Workun, is bringing SIX of his improv pals to make sure everyone has great laughs all night long.

We are also fortunate to announce on this night RE/MAX Field will be the only local stop for the touring World Famous Torrington Gopher Hole Museum (Google it, trust us!).  Enjoy live music from the Beaver Hills Brass Band and dancing from the award-winning Mattierin Dancers!

Retro Dad’s Day + Trappers Jerseys with RE/MAX!

You know the saying "Back in my day...."? Well, we're taking it quite literally and transporting you back to your dad's era... in more ways than one!

Treat your dad to a special Father’s Day outing at the ballpark! Enjoy dozens of cars from the Edmonton Antique Car Club and the Edmonton Classic Sports Car Club, harmonies from the Grove City Chorus barbershop quartet and our Riverhawk players sporting classic Trappers jerseys! School’s Out Beach Night! Presented by The Chuck 92.5

Cue the ringing school bell - and the screaming kids!

We’re celebrating the last day of classes (better known as the first day of summer) for schools across the Capital Region and beyond with an epic beach night party!

And we want to thank all those teachers who have gone to the wall for our kids! Any one of them can come on down to the game, show their Alberta Teachers Association card at the Box Office, and get Free Admission for themselves plus 50% off 1 guest for our General Admission Grandstand seating.

This is also our first Winning Wednesday of the season! We guarantee the Riverhawks will come away with a win - or else every fan in attendance receives a free general admission ticket to the game the next night!

We’re getting spooky in July! Kids love Halloween and parents love the chance to dust off those costumes that usually only see one night of wear a year (sounds like a win-win to us!)

Nothing beats a Canada Day celebration at the ballpark!

The Riverhawks will play proud host to a Canadian citizenship ceremony before the game, where a group of Canadian newcomers will be officially sworn in to join our great country.

Stick around for the post-game party that will include performances by Brasstactics, the Canadian classic rock band Giv’r, and one of the best views in the city to watch the City of Edmonton’s fireworks display!

First Responders Night! Presented by 102.3 Now! Radio

Join us in honouring the dedicated members of the Edmonton Police Services, the Edmonton Fire Services, Edmonton Medical Services, the RCMP and AHS!  We want to be sure to include all those people who take care of us each and every day.

These folks also bring an amazing display with them which is so cool for fans both young and old to check out. You might also see a police dog in action! There will also be the legendary contests, like the tug o war, between the forces. Hmmm, we wonder if the police will have an edge with one of the world’s strongest men!

Come on down the field after the game for the amazing fireworks show put on by Uncle John's Fireworks!

This may be our most colourful night of the season! Join us in celebrating the vibrant Indian culture and community in Edmonton! Experience a pre-game cricket match, immerse yourself in the energetic rhythms of Bhangra and Bollywood dancing, and so much more!

Our great friends at MyRadio 580 are returning to follow up our historic achievement last season when we became the first team in Edmonton to have a game broadcast in Punjabi.

We’ll keep the party going on the field after the game. Everyone will be out for a South Asian Dance Party and a fantastic light show from Uncle Johns Fireworks!

Superheroes Night! Presented by Global Edmonton

Spiderman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman and the rest of their superhero crew are returning to the ballpark for another night of heroics and fun!

As we welcome our superhero friends to the park, we will also be celebrating the real-life superheroes of our country, the members of our Canadian Military! We’ll also remember to include ALL the members, including horses! Eight members of the Strathcona Mounted Troop will come trotting onto the field on their steeds to make for a memorable game ball delivery!

SUN, JULY 21

Baseball and Body Slams!

AND HIS NAME IS JOHN CENA! No, it's not…. But it is the high-flying crew from Love Pro Wrestling!

Come catch some professional wrestling action throughout the game AND a post-game wrestling match held on the field! A lovely afternoon of body slams, pile drivers and clotheslines sounds like the perfect Sunday if you ask us!

We wonder if the dogs in the Barking Bleachers will approve!!!
