In a galaxy not so far away (okay, downtown Edmonton), the Riverhawks are going full on Star Wars mode!

This Friday at 7:00 pm, we’re hosting our first ever Star Wars Night at the ballpark when the Riverhawks kick off a weekend series against the Kamloops Northpaws!

The boys will be rocking Lucasfilm-approved Grogu jerseys on the field. And these limited-edition, game-worn jerseys won’t just be for show, they’ll be available through an online charity auction launching Friday morning, with all proceeds supporting the Edmonton Space & Science Foundation, the non-profit that powers the TELUS World of Science.

Bidding is live on Friday morning on https://www.32auctions.com/hawkwars and will close near the end of the game, giving fans plenty of time to snag a piece of intergalactic Riverhawks history.

But the fun, and the force, don’t stop there.

Fans are encouraged to arrive around 6:30 pm to catch a pre-game Jedi demonstration, meet characters like Darth Vader, and witness a truly one-of-a-kind moment: the Death Star explosion, brought to life by the space and science experts at TELUS World of Science.

And to top it all off, the post-game sky will light up with a Firework Friday show courtesy of Uncle John’s Fireworks.

After the epic Star Wars Night, the fun keeps rolling with a fan-favourite promo on Saturday—Yeekawww Country Night! We’re partnering with our friends at Daisy’s Saloon, Edmonton’s hottest new country bar, for a night full of line dancing and live country music. Plus, we’ll be giving away two tickets to the Morgan Wallen concert at Commonwealth Stadium on September 12th!

Ever heard of Mutton Bustin’? Get ready to witness it live at the Riverhawks—spoiler alert: kids racing across the outfield on sheep!

Then on Sunday morning, we’re waking things up early with our first-ever 11:00 a.m. Sunday game as we bring you Baseball and Brunch with Global Edmonton. Our concessions will be serving delicious breakfast sandwiches and refreshing mimosas (mimosa beer bats, anyone!?!).

It’s also Princesses and Pirates at the Park! Kids dressed as princesses or pirates get free admission at the box office. Meet some beloved favourites like Moana and Elsa, then dare to walk the plank with Captain Jack Sparrow. Oh, and did we mention? We have three unicorns making a magical appearance at RE/MAX Field!
