    Game Day Ticketing Intern

    *APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED!*

Ready to gain real-world experience in the sports entertainment
industry, where fun is part of the job?!?!

If you’re an energetic and creative university student studying sports
management, business, marketing, or something related, we want YOU to join our team for the 2026 season!

The Riverhawks are all about throwing epic parties for our fans and keeping the fun rolling on social media! With 148,000+ fans at our games in 2025 and 45,000 followers across our platforms, we’re looking for a hardworking student to help us take our game day experience to the next level as a Game Day Ticketing Intern!

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    • Customer Service: Assist fans with ticketing-related concerns, stadium policies, and general questions while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor throughout their experience.
    • Team Leadership: Supervise ushers in the stands and help manage scanning staff, ensuring efficient operations and quick resolution of any customer issues.
    • Stadium Operations: Help set up the stadium for game day, including assisting with ticketing stations, scanners, and wayfinding signage to ensure smooth fan entry.
    • Group Management: Serve as a point person for large groups, helping with setup questions and special arrangements, and assisting community groups visiting for special Riverhawks experiences.
    • Pre and Post-Game Operations: Help with setup and breakdown of ticketing areas, manage post-game on-field activations, and support overall stadium operations.
    • Stadium Entry: Help direct fans into the facility, resolve any ticketing issues, and ensure a smooth entry process while maintaining security protocols.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • You’re friendly, outgoing, and full of energy, always ready to go the extra mile to create unforgettable experiences for fans at the ballpark!
    • You’re an excellent team player who can collaborate effectively with other team members, willing to share ideas, and contribute to improving our game day operations.
    • You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, often chaotic environment and can handle whatever comes your way with professionalism.
    • You’re organized, can take direction, and have a strong work ethic.
    • A little baseball knowledge is a bonus, but it’s not a dealbreaker!
    • You can represent the Riverhawks brand with positivity and professionalism— at the stadium, or in the community.
    • Availability for all 27 home games during the 2025 season is a must!
    • Please note: This role involves being on your feet for multiple hours, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The position will perform work in a stadium, office, and local community environment where noise/crowd levels greatly vary. The position is
subject to varying temperatures and weather extremes.

    Internship Details:

    • Location: We’re looking for a student based in the Metro Edmonton area, as this role primarily involves work at RE/MAX Field.
    • Start Date: Mid May (with preparation for the upcoming season).
    • End Date: Early August (at the end of the baseball season).
    • Hours: Hours will vary throughout the summer, changing weekly based on the baseball schedule, and will include evenings and weekends.
    • Compensation: This is an unpaid internship for college/university credit, with a summer honorarium included.
